One Thing… Week 2 Meditation
Last Sunday we focused our hearts on Psalm 1 and Psalm 15. Looking at the importance of God’s Word in our lives through Psalm 1. In Psalm 15 we were challenged to stand strong and live a Holy life pleasing to God. Throughout the week we’ve read Psalms 17,19,23,25 and 27. Along with focusing on Deuteronomy 8: 3 and 1 Peter 1:15, trying to memorise these. On Wednesday you may have been at your lifegroup or were able to get down to the prayer meeting at NBC.
In each of these times and maybe on other occasions we hope you found real joy by being in God’s presence and our prayer is that He will have met you in each of these times. If you have time over the weekend to meditate (to focus your mind and thoughts) let God direct your thoughts to see what He is saying to you. As Psalm 19 finished “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”
If you have time we’d love to know how these last couple of weeks have gone as you’ve entered into this season of ‘One Thing… Pursuing the presence of God’ at NBC. Anything you’d like to share with us you can send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org We hope and pray you have a good weekend meditating on how great our God is and what He is doing in each of your lives.
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork” Psalm 19 v 1.
