Life is full of choices; every day we face a range of challenges and very often we need to make difficult decisions. As a church we offer various activities and ministries aimed at helping people who are struggling practically, physically or spiritually. No-one knows what’s around the next corner and whilst we can look ahead and plan, only one thing is certain, at some stage each of our lives will be over.
We look upon every activity within the church as an opportunity, an opportunity not just to demonstrate God’s love but to help people understand how important it is to enter a real and personal relationship with Him. God sent His son, Jesus, to die for each and every one of us. The Bible says “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him (John 3:17).
John 10:10 says ‘the enemy (Satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full’. God gives us the freewill to accept Him or reject Him. If we reject Him the Bible says the consequence is ‘death’ but if we accept Him God promises us ‘the gift of eternal life’ (Romans 6:23) and that ‘he will never leave us or forsake us’(Hebrews 13:5).
If you don’t already enjoy a relationship with God then we would be delighted to give you some literature to read, answer any questions you may have and, if you’re ready, lead you into that personal relationship with Him.
If you would like us to help you understand more about a relationship with God why not come along to one of our Sunday services where there are always people on hand to help; or if you would like to receive some literature, drop us an email or contact the church office.
We cannot guarantee that you will not continue to face difficult situations, but what we can guarantee is that you will never again have to go through them alone – we can promise you that your life will never be the same again.
If we can help you in any way just contact us.
