Pastoral Care

Need to talk, want someone to listen?

No-one is immune from difficulty, loss or pressure. We all struggle at different times and as God’s family we want to be there to care for one another.

‘The task of pastoral care involves assisting people to develop, grow and mature spiritually in spite of the difficulties of life.’ Eugene Peterson

Aware of these challenges NBC offers help to those in need of support. We have staff and church members who are available to care by means of prayer, encouragement and pointing you to the necessary resources, based on the Godly values of:-

  • Confidentiality
  • Respect
  • Acceptance
  • Honesty
  • Christian love
  • A Biblical approach

The Bible says ‘Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing’ 1Thess 5 v11

If you need immediate care and support contact:-

  • Pastoral Elder: Raymond Davis
  • Lady Pastoral Worker: Pam Johnston
  • Church Administrator: Janet Orr
  • Church Office

A member of staff is available to meet with you for an initial chat and if further support is required link you in with the appropriate member of the Pastoral Care Team. Pastoral Care is also available from the designated person in your Home Group.
